Call it what you want – Garbage Dip or Trash Dip as some say is always a summer hit. This is a pretty easy dish to take along to summer picnics, lake outings or just for your family. This recipe was given to me by a friend when I worked at Hands On Memphis. It is popular with our family and Rachel’s friend’s request it from time to time.
Garbage Dip
4 tomatoes (chopped and seeded)
1 can of black olives (chopped)
1 can of green chiles (chopped)
4 green onions (sliced)
1 cup of cilantro
1/2 cup of Italian dressing
1 – 2 cups Monterrey Jack Cheese (depending on your taste – we like more!)
I also add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon cumin. I think cumin makes everything better!
Store in fridge but it won’t be around for long!
